Something I Hope to Learn

This year I really want to learn a lot, but not any of that knowledge would be obtained in school.  First I want to learn basically how to maintain and repair a home, because my mom is getting a new house November seventh.  I also want to learn basic eletrical mechanics.

Silent Beat

The video was about perception.  When the teenage boy walked into the store both the elderly woman and the Asian store owner seemed to discredit him for some criminal.  Throughout the short film the auidence is able to see that this perception is wrong as flashbacks come to him.  In the end while most perceived the teenage boy to be a criminal, it turned out to be the innocent-looking elderly lady. 

Grading Period Results

For the most part this grading period sucked... I know I did extremely bad, a lot worse than I should have.  But everything has been done and next quarter will be different.

SWOT of Listening to Music While Doing Homework

Strengths:
Helps me focus
Shuts people out

Weakeness:
Can't hear if people are trying to get my attention
Became too dependent on music to do homework

Opportunity:
I get my homework done quicker
My homework is finished with better quality

Threats:

Should Students Receive iPads and Laptops Instead of Textbooks?

Journal 27:

Topic:       Students receiving technology instead of books (iPads, or laptops, ect.)

Why I chose it:       Because I believe personally that it will improve the way students learn and make it more convenient for them.  It will help prevent tardies and running in the hall because students won't need to go to lockers.
